On a budget and looking for help redesigning your backyard?
Landscape Smart is looking for diverse homeowners in the San Francisco Bay area who want to get their hands dirty redesigning their backyard. You'll get to work with one of our fabulous designers and our talented, reliable contractors who will help you create a great new yard -- all on a reasonable budget.
We are all about Smart Ideas that can save you time, money and effort on your landscape project. We can help you save a bundle on a design that might cost you much more. Our projects are primarily soft-scaping and do not include building decks, fences, pools or pouring concrete. Check out some of our shows at HGTV.com to get an idea of the types of projects we cover.
You will need to commit to two full weekdays working on your yard in front of our cameras, plus three other half-days for planning meetings and ancillary photography. You should also be looking to spend about $7000 on your project. We provide a number of resources, including a really hip professional designer, part of the cost of materials and a project that actually gets finished in two days.
Ideal candidates for Landscape Smart are homeowner couples who are outgoing, energetic, equally excited to be on TV, like to work, are open-minded and not cost-conscious beyond reason.
